The problem
Logistics operators coordinate trucks, drivers and cargo over phone calls and WhatsApp groups. Customers call to ask where their shipment is, dispatchers keep the plan in their heads, and utilisation of expensive vehicles is unknown.
The system
CargoGrid demonstrates a logistics control tower: shipment lifecycle tracking from booking to proof of delivery, a dispatch board that assigns loads to vehicles and drivers, driver mobile app with status updates and ePOD, and utilisation reporting per vehicle and route.
